About me
David Petersen is Assistant Professor, Research & Learning Services Librarian at the University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine/University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. Before this, he served as Health Sciences Librarian at Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, FL and Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, TN. David earned his MSLIS from Florida State University and an MA in History from the University of Kentucky. He has served on numerous committees in offices in the Medical Library Association, Southern Chapter of the Medical Library Association, and Tennessee Health Sciences Library Association. His research interests include professionalism in librarianship, remote/hybrid work, finances, and rural health.
